 Erika Garcia - Email
Erika Garcia grew up in Fairfax, VA and is an alumni of Old Dominion University (2004). She felt her faith really grow in college, due in part to strong Catholic friends, powerful retreats, and learning and experiencing the richness of the Liturgy. After graduation, Erika followed God’s invitation to become a bride of Christ and entered the convent with the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in Nashville, TN. After 5 years of religious formation, teaching 2nd grade, and wonderful memories with the Sisters, God called her our of the convent and back home. In the past 6 years, Erika has continued to do ministry in various ways with youth and recently as a catechist at a Catholic Montessori School for the last three years. Now she finds her way back to ODU Catholic Campus Ministry as their new assistant director and excited to bring souls to Christ on campus.
